From The Offices of "The Commish"

Welcome to The Club!
Surprised? Don't be. I'm a die-hard football fanatic who's always had a love for the game, intense loyalty for my home team and a certain "outspoken quality" when it comes to watching the games. Who better to represent The Club?

The Club is a unique organization--part fraternity, part sports league, part community organization, part sports broadcast network--and that makes us exceptional.
The Ultimate Football Club exists to fill a void. We provide football fanatics with the opportunity to experience "all things football" in the truest, most literal sense. The Ultimate Football Club is not "a league"--rather, we are a parody and fantasy version of the "big leagues" in all aspects.

Even though we're a parody of the "professional leagues", we do provide our Members with a real, tangible football experience. We actually do play tackle football--we just don't go out and try to kill each other. We put on equipment, go outside and play 7-on-7, videotape it and then go back and laugh at ourselves. It's all about Football, Fantasy and Fun.

In 2009, The Club conducted a successful year-long "soft opening" and test in Augusta, GA--forming partnerships, participating in community activities and bringing in a select group of Members to try out The Club experience for themselves. Now, based on a very successful initial test, we're excited to bring this experience to football fanatics across the country as part of our expansion plans. The Club's goal is to establish a total of 20 Chapters in 2010. We're rolling out Stage I of our efforts in 8 cities--Augusta, GA; Atlanta, GA; Tampa, FL; Jacksonville, FL; Charlotte, NC; Columbia, SC, Nashville, TN and Richmond, VA. Beginning April 22, 2010, The Club will officially begin our Membership Drive in those select cities to review candidates who are interested in joining The Club Family.

As Commissioner, I'm here to ensure that every Member has the opportunity to "Forget the dream and Live the fantasy" in a safe, well-organized environment. I have the same responsibilities as the Commissioner of any other "professional league"--but with a "Club twist". I try to ensure the safety of all Members by enforcing the rules, handling disciplinary procedures (chilled Almond Joys are the payment method of choice for fines, by the way) and above all maintaining the integrity of the organization and protecting the logo. On the one hand, I'm a "traditional" type of Commissioner, but I'm also a new kind of Commissioner--a Commissioner done "Club Style".

If that means I may periodically have to "go undercover", put on some pads and get in on the action--then so be it--it's all part of The Commissioner's job. (You can check out some of the footage from our soft opening in Augusta, GA to see me in action--shuttin' down the defense and, well, sucking wind too. LOL)

So don't be surprised if you notice a "newbie" Club Member at some of your outings who's being followed by a camera crew because she's "just testin' it out for a documentary"--anything for The Club, right?
Member-Commissioner
The Club & Community I'm a hands-on type of Commissioner--participating in community events and helping out whenever needed. I pitch in because that's what our Membership is all about. We're a socially-conscious organization--a fraternity of football fanatics--and we're serious about our community efforts.

Whereas in the professional leagues that we parody, community involvement is part of what they do--but with The Club, community involvement is the other half of what we do.
We are very excited. Our directive and mission is to build The Club into an iconic brand--high profile and visible, not just within our local communities, but throughout The Club Nation as well--ultimately creating an entity that becomes a part of pop culture, part of the national discussion and a household name.
To that end, we take the fantasy experience to another level. The Ultimate Football Club Studios compiles Chapter videos, stats, news, etc., from throughout The Club Nation to create highlight shows, original programming, bloopers, parodies of sports-themed shows, etc. and broadcast this content online on The Ultimate Football Club TV/Radio Network. With additional features, articles, news, columns, etc. presented in our version of a national sports news website--The Club SportsDesk.

Our Club Reporters chronicle events, provide news, updates and interest stories, produce Club documentaries and cover activities and people that traditional news outlets typically don't feature related to the game of football and takes particular interest in football-related community activities.

One of the regular assignments for our Club Reporters that we're most excited about is providing coverage of Little League and recreational games, athletes, coaches and community activities. The Club has a vested interest in football-related community stories since The Club is active in the community through our Club ACTS. It is our hope that by providing coverage of these events that we're able to enhance the experience of the kids and coaches by making them feel special and giving them just a little taste of what our Members get through The Club fantasy experience.
In closing, would like to thank all who were involved in helping us get to this point--including the entire Club Family of Boosters, Partners, Backers, Club Girls, Members, Echelon Members and Sponsors.

We would like to thank Baden Sports for coming on board and providing a series of customized footballs--some traditional and some that will be done, of course, "Club Style"--that will be used as "The Official Football of The Ultimate Football Club"--which will feature The Club logo and of course, being Commissioner--my signature (how cool is that). They'll also be producing custom promotional footballs that we'll be using in our Club promotional appearances, clinics, community events and other activities, as well as signature balls (regular footballs that have one white, blank panel that can be signed/autographed) that our Members will be autographing and distributing to kids during our visits to children's hospitals, camps, recreational games, community activities and events--enhancing the fantasy experience for our Members of course, but much more importantly, providing a sense of pride, making the kids feel special, and serving to further represent our goal to be mentors, role models and a positive influence in the community.

If you would like to join us in this journey, please consider becoming a member of The Club Family. There are many ways to get involved, be it as a Booster, Partner, Backer, Echelon Member, Club Girl or Sponsor. Please contact our offices at 877-902-CLUB or via email at contact@theultimatefootballclub.com.
This is going to be a great ride. Being the Commissioner of The Ultimate Football Club is the greatest job in the world. Not only do I get to enjoy the game that I love, but I also get to forget the dream and live the ultimate fantasy on a daily basis. But as cool as having your signature on the ball may be (and it's pretty cool), perhaps the best part of my job is to be able to travel the country and meet our Members, Sponsors, Partners and affiliates as we establish new Chapters and build The Club Nation. Yeah, you may see me on TV or hear me on the radio--doing interviews, making appearances and pretty much telling anyone and everyone how great The Club is--because it is great (and I'm not just sayin' that because I'm Commissioner).

So the next time you see me out in the community, stop by and say hello--and oh, bring some chilled Almond Joys along with you.

~Keisha A. Rivers-Shorty
Commissioner, The Ultimate Football Club
